Eligible candidates will be selected for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship by CSIR NET Exam 2019. In addition to age eligibility for the candidates, MSc / Integrated BS-M.S / BS (4 years) /be./b-tech/b.pharma/mbbs should also have the desired degree. The exam convening institute is the Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. CSIR UGC NET Syllabus 2019 is for the subjects of Life Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematical Sciences, Earth Sciences and Physical Sciences etc.

The examination authority HRDG, CSIR conducts this examination to assess the candidates based on some specific features. The CSIR NET Exam is conducted in three parts – Part A, Part B and Part C. The questions are of objective type (MCQ) with a maximum of 200 marks. The duration of the exam is of 3 hours (180 minutes). 1/4 negative marking will be done for each wrong answer.

Part A – This is a compulsory question paper for all subjects. In this section, candidates are measured on the basis of their major skills in general science, quantitative reasoning and analysis, and research aptitude. All the questions are objective type (MCQ) with a maximum of 30 marks.

Part B – This section covers traditional subject-related questions with low difficulty level. In this section also all the questions are of objective type (MCQ), which carries a maximum of 70 marks.

Part C – High value subject related questions which test the scientific knowledge of the candidate are covered in this section. In this all the questions will be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply scientific knowledge to solve a given scientific problem. This part carries a maximum of 30 marks.

The CSIR NET Earth Science Exam will have 3 parts – Part A, Part B and Part C. The duration of the exam is of 3 hours (180 minutes).

Part A – There will be a total of 20 questions in this part out of which it is necessary to answer any 15 questions.
Part B – There will be a total of 50 questions in this part out of which it is mandatory to answer any 35 questions, each question is 2 marks.
Part C – A total of 80 questions will be included in this part out of which any 25 questions should be answered by the candidate and total number of 100 for this part.
