CTET 2020 Online Notification CTET Exam is conducted to check the eligibility of the candidates appearing in the examination to meet the shortage of teachers at the primary and upper primary levels. CTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The CTET 2020 Exam consists of two papers, in which Paper 1 for Class 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to 8 are organized. The detailed information of CTET July 2020 Exam qualification for both papers can be read here.

CTET 2020 Eligibility for Paper I:

  • The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks.
  • Also, it should be in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) or passed

Or

  • Applicants must have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with at least 45% marks.
  • He must have passed the final year examination of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations, 2002.

Or

  • A candidate who has passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks and
  • He should also pass the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Or

  • Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks.
  • With this, they should have a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) * pass certificate.

Or

  • A candidate who has a bachelor’s degree and has passed or passed the final year examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration).

CTET 2020 Eligibility for Paper II:

  • Candidate must have completed Graduation with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) and passed.

Or

  • Graduates with at least 50% marks and must have passed 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Or

  • Candidates should have graduated with at least 45% marks and passed 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE (Recognition Criteria and Procedure) Regulations.

Or

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed with at least 50% marks or passed in Graduate Education in the final year of 4- year (B.EI.Ed).

Or

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed in final year of 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed.

Or

  • Graduates with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. in (Special Education) passed.

How to Fill CTET 2020 Application Form?

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification of CTET 2020. The CTET exam will be conducted across the country on 5 July 2020. Online applications have been started for this. Candidates will be able to apply for the CTET 2020 Online Application Form by visiting the ctet website ctet.nic.in. The last date for receiving applications is 24 February 2020. But the last date for depositing the fee is 27 February 2020. This time the exam will be conducted in 112 cities across the country. CTET 2020 Application Form Correction

CTET 2020 Exam Pattern

There will be 2 papers in the CTET 2020 exam, Paper 1 for primary level and Paper 2 for Elementary level teachers.

  • Candidates who want to teach in class I-V primary level will have to take paper 1.
  • Candidates who want to teach Elementary Level in Class VI-VIII will have to take Paper 2.
  • Both papers carry 150 multiple choice questions to finish in 150 minutes for 150 marks each.
  • No negative marking is applicable in the exam.

CTET Syllabus 2020 for July Exam

The CTET 2020 paper 1st is for the candidates of Primary Stage Teachers and the paper 2nd is for the candidates of Elementary Stage Teachers. Candidates can also apply for both papers.

CTET 2020 Admit Card

The candidate has to visit the official website to download the CTET 2020 Hall Ticket and can appear for the examination at the given center. On confirmation of any discrepancy in the details of the photograph and signature or any other information in the candidate’s CTET Admit Card 2020, he can immediately contact the CTET unit for necessary correction.

Candidates will report at the examination center 90 minutes before the time of the examination. After 9:30 pm the candidate’s entry will not be allowed to sit in Paper 1st and after 2:00 pm the candidate’s entry at the examination center will not be allowed to sit in Paper 2nd.
