• An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. qualification in the concerned/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/ or research/ policy papers.
•  A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/ college, including experience guiding candidates for research at the doctoral level.
• A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API), based on ICAR Regulations / UGC Regulations.
• The candidate should be a member of the State Veterinary Council and Veterinary Council of India

Professor/ Research Scientist/ Extension Educationist and it’s equivalent (Dairy Technology) & 

• An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/ or research/ policy papers.
• A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/ college, and/ or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions industries, including experience guiding candidates for research at the doctoral level.
• A minimum of five years of experience in teaching and/ or research in an academic/ research/ extension position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University.

Associate Professor/ Associate Research Scientist/ Associate Extension Educationist and it’s equivalent (Veterinary)

• Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ relevant disciplines.
• A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed).
• A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.

Associate Professor/ Associate Research Scientist/ Associate Extension Educationist and it’s equivalent (Fisheries Science)

• A minimum of five years of experience in teaching and/ or research in an academic/ research/ extension position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution excluding the period of Ph.D., research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publication as books and/ or research, policy papers.

Assistant professor/ Assistant Research Scientist/ Assistant Extension Educationist and it’s equivalent (Veterinary/ Dairy/ Fisheries Science)

• Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the master’s or doctorate level degree in the relevant subject of the concerned faculty from a recognized University.
• The candidate should have passed the NET examination conducted by UGC/ CSIR/ICAR/ NET recognized by the State Government in the subject where, a NET examination is conducted and should have published at least one article in the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) New Delhi, rated journal.
