October 2 is also celebrated internationally as a non-violence day. But Gandhiji was always against non-violence. Therefore, on October 2, 2007, the United Nations General Assembly was declared the International Day of Non-Violence. Gandhi also remembered as a symbol of peace and truth. Gandhiji was born in Porbandar, Gujarat, in a small village in 1869. Gandhi went to England to advocate, from there he obtained a degree in law. After that he came to India. After that, he went to South Africa. In South Africa they had to deal with breed distinctions.
