October 2 is also celebrated internationally as a non-violence day. But Gandhiji was always against non-violence. Therefore, on October 2, 2007, the United Nations General Assembly was declared the International Day of Non-Violence. Gandhi also remembered as a symbol of peace and truth. Gandhiji was born in Porbandar, Gujarat, in a small village in 1869. Gandhi went to England to advocate, from there he obtained a degree in law. After that he came to India. After that, he went to South Africa. In South Africa they had to deal with breed distinctions. Gandhiji described the history of his life in his autobiography “My Experiment with Truth”, in his autobiography. Fighting for India’s independence against British rule.

On October 2, the sale of alcohol by the Government of India is completely prohibited. Gandhiji was the leader of truth and non-violence who started the Satyagraha movement for India’s independence. His statue on the Raj Ghat of New Delhi is decorated with flowers. Prayer is done and the song “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patit Pawan Sita Ram …” is given by paying homage.
